R+R have succeeded in winning and fulfilling more orders for Crown Micro-Leak Detection Machines compatible with the BAMA requirements and FEA recommendations for the ‘Alternative Method’ of aerosol quality control. The Machines test every container, and are capable of detecting and rejecting leaking valves or valve crimps in tinplate aerosols, regardless of propellant or product.
These new orders mean that R&R now have their Crown Leak Micro-Leak Detection Machines installed on the premises of major aerosol manufacturers & fillers across the UK and Europe.
A variant of the Leak Detection Technology can also be used to verify valve crimps before the containers pass into the pressurisation stage. This will prevent badly crimped containers from expelling product inside the pressurisation Machine and causing costly delays.
